I didn’t arrive in data engineering through a Computer Science degree. I arrived through people.

My first years in work were spent on the frontlines — aviation operations, customer service, the messy human reality of large organisations. I watched decisions get made without data, or with the wrong data, or with data nobody trusted. That gap bothered me enough to do something about it.

Today I’m a Data Engineer & Senior Analyst at LOT Polish Airlines, building the Lakehouse infrastructure that powers workforce management and business intelligence across the organisation. My academic background — a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Cultural Studies — isn’t a detour from data engineering. It’s the reason I build systems that people actually use.

I shoot on film. This site is my small corner of the internet — built deliberately, maintained quietly, as an alternative to algorithmic feeds. Vegetarian, occasional cyclist, local traveller who prefers depth over distance.
